Story
For the EnBW project, AK Lichtdesign developed a demanding outdoor lighting design focused on lighting design and light art for the outdoor area. The goal was to combine functional requirements with an artistic and identity-forming lighting effect and to make the outdoor space architecturally and atmospherically experienceable.
The lighting concept specifically highlights architectural structures, pathways, and open spaces. Through a precisely coordinated lighting design, it creates orientation, safety, and at the same time a strong visual presence that clearly defines and enhances the outdoor space even in the evening and night hours.
Challenge
The challenge was to combine functional outdoor lighting with a design-oriented lighting idea. Light was to ensure orientation and safety without losing atmosphere and at the same time develop an artistic statement that sustainably shapes the place.
Solution
The lighting design is based on a balanced interplay of technology, design, and light art.
