For the office building PlanB in Hüttlingen, AK Lichtdesign developed a customized façade lighting concept that harmonizes architecture and function. The aim was to highlight the building structure specifically and to create a modern, subdued light effect that makes the building clearly legible even at night.

The project encompassed all phases from consulting to preconcept and lighting design, culminating in detailed execution planning and lighting scenario design. In close collaboration with the company EPlanning Hutter, a tailored solution was created that meets both aesthetic and technical requirements.

The façade lighting emphasizes the character of the office building, strengthens its visual presence in the urban space, and contributes to a high-quality and contemporary external effect.

Challenge

The challenge was to achieve a clear architectural emphasis on the façade without visually over-staging the building. Light should create orientation and recognizability while simultaneously radiating a calm, professional effect.
